There is no doubt that Bill O'Brien's truly terrible performance as GM squandered this year of Deshaun Watson's excellent talent and put the team in a hole for the next two seasons. Now, the Texans owner's rejection of the most qualified GM candidate has reportedly incensed the star quarterback.

Gotta say, Divisional Sunday kinda sucked. Brees fell short of making the NFC Championship in his last game, and Patrick Mahomes got a scary concussion that could keep him out of what should be one of the best games of the year. Still, Andy Reid is Andy Reid, so hopefully that game is good. Also, major kudos to Matt LaFleur to coaching the Packers into a second-straight NFC Championship game in his only two seasons as a head coach. I'm sure Mike McCarthy is a nice enough guy, but it really feels like he squandered some of Aaron Rodgers' best years.

The Packers got beat pretty badly in Tampa earlier this year, but I think it was one of their learning experiences to prepare them for a matchup like this. Plus, it's up at Lambeau in January. I like the Bills/Chiefs game better on paper, but like I said above, if Mahomes misses this game in concussion protocol, it really puts a damper on the whole thing.

ELO likes the Packers by about 2:1 and rates the Chiefs and Bills as a toss-up.

Barf. There was one team that I didn't want to see in the Super Bowl...heck, one player I didn't want to see, but here we are. If you thought NFL media were insufferable before...

Super Bowl LV
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Anyway...gotta pick the Chiefs. They deserve it more, and two in a row for Reid and Mahomes is way, way, WAY more desirable than another one for TB. Plus, the Chiefs did with this matchup (in Tampa) earlier this season, and they played their best game of the year against the very good Bills last night. I also think Reid is smart enough to build in motion for his QB so he doesn't get sacked five times.

Agreed.
I was so disgusted at the end of the NFC title game that I turned off the TV.
