folding/mining completely 100% dead?

is it? who folds anymore? i doubt anyone in the entire world folds. we used to fold for proteins and UFO's (100% s*** here), but why even bother anymore?
what about mining? only peeps mining are multi-millionaire/billionaire corporations setting up entire NOC/DC's. it's not even worth doing this on a personal/home level ffs.
