Here’s the update: morphine built it, so we’ll see if they come
My new phrase for the week is Argle Bargle.derFunkenstein wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:30 pm Here’s the update: morphine built it, so we’ll see if they come
Bonus points if you know the origin.
Uncultured Swine.
But is it METAL (Multiply-Enhanced Troll Avoidance Layer)?derFunkenstein wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:30 pm Here’s the update: morphine built it, so we’ll see if they come
Oh hai.
Bedlam(dev box, ML shenanigans, VFIO gaming):
Stockpile(TrueNAS Core storage and jails), UPS, and network:
I bought most of this before the world exploded, so wasn't affected by shortages so much. Bedlam is still a work in progress. A normal person would say the noise levels are fine, and for the most part they are especially now that it's winter and colder. At least on Ubuntu the VFIO setup requires a bit more fine tuning than I was expecting to get close to native performance, but using Looking Glass is a pretty nifty way to go about it. I might distro-hop to Fedora since I've heard a lot of those optimizations are enabled by default there.
So yeah, that's what I've been up to.
